Timeline Friday Eat Dinner @ Home First Group leaves for Camp Maumee to get canoes (4:30ish) Second Group Leave Moose @ 6:15 PM Both Groups Meet at Edinburgh (7:30 PM) Edinburgh Bait Shop, Thompson Dam Site CLICK HERE FOR DRIVING MAP Eisenhower / SR 252 S & River Road On River by 7:45 PM Arrive at Campground 9:45 PM (via the river) Heflin Memorial Park From I-65 get off at exit 76B & drive north to the road left & turn south on Heflin Park Rd. Curve west on Heflin Pk Rd / Bartholomew CR 700 N & drive to park entrance next to canoe rental Lights Out @ 12:00 PM Saturday Up @ 7:00 AM Breakfast On River by 9:00 AM Lunch - Mill Run Park (Columbus, IN - City Park) West 5th St. at the confluence of Driftwood and Flatwood Rivers Possible Portage - Columbus Mill Dam - Map photos show ability to canoe around. If not possible portage will be required. Arrive at Peters' Island - 6:00 PM Island in White River between Bartholomew CR 600 South and Bartholomew CR 650 South. Most easily approachable from the road via the farm on the west side of the river according to the map Dinner Lights Out 12:00 PM Sunday Up @ 7:00 AM Breakfast On River by 9:00 AM Arrive at Public Access Site CLICK HERE FOR DRIVING DIRECTIONS Azalia public access site Bartholomew CR 800 S bridge, SE corner Location is 1.1 miles east of SR 11 (SW of Azalia) Lunch @ Public Access Site Arrive @ Moose 1:00 PM (This time is approximate and we will call when we are 1 hour away from Bloomington).
